The Robo Pod is capable of assembling into a variety of different green robots. The instructions give directions for three different models. The first model, the one pictured above, is a short robot that carries some sort of weapon or stick. The second assembly is somewhat similar to the first, but shorter, and its stick is more like a gun. The third and final assembly is one that has the pod as its body, with feet on the bottom, and a head on the top. The rest of the instructions included pictures to give ideas to make with the pieces included. -

This powerful drilling rig may look like a simple base for mining energy crystals, but it's so much more - when hostile aliens attack, the MT-201 Ultra Drill Walker converts into a massive 4-legged mobile tank-mech and thunders across the surface of Mars! -

Stretch the imagination, with the Maximum Wheels Designer Set from LEGO. Containing red, grey and black bricks (as well as a few other bricks for lights, hooks, wheels, windows and so on), the set includes a colour instruction booklet that gives step-by-step instructions for 13 models, and pictures of 22 more for inspiration. Each construction is coded: one brick for "Quick Build", two for "Experienced Build" and three for "Advanced Build".Trucks, fire engines, cranes, racing cars, petrol stations, and buggies are all possible, along with a myriad of other vehicles of all shapes and sizes. The set can also be put together with other LEGO sets to create an infinite amount of possibilities, limited only by the imagination.
LEGO recommend this set for children aged six years and older, and it is not suitable for children under three years of age, due to small parts. A competent six-year-old could build a "Quick Build" project in an hour or so, with more time needed for the increasingly difficult models. A nice set for a novice or LEGO addict, this designer set will stretch children's imaginations, and improve their problem-solving and design skills. In addition, it will provide hours of enjoyment and is great fun. --Susan Naylor
